What to do about mice?
Most people panic the moment they spot a mouse in their house or find micedroppings in the cupboard. After the first encounter with a mouse or mousedroppings you probably immediately wonder if the little fellow is alone or that he brought his whole family. The minute you run into a mouse in your house you know you have to take action. You have several choices to get rid of mice. You can set a humane trap so you can release the mouse outside. If you want the mouse killed you can use a snap trap or poison. You can also buy a cat.
Getting rid of mice is one thing but prevent mice from inventing your home is another. Mice are attracted by the smell of food, therefore it’s important to keep your food but also your trash well contained. Make sure that there is a good lit on your bin and locate compost piles well away from your home. Clean up anything that could provide food or shelter for mice like breadcrums or piles of newspapers.
